Summer in the Cariboo

Every summer I look forward to my drive through the Cariboo. On the way home I decided to spend some time painting the dry hot landscape in the afternoon. The scent of sage and the sound of sleepy insects kept me company during my afternoon painting. I was fascinated with the changing colors as the clouds created shadows on the hills.
